This Paneer Rice is such a quick and easy dish with full of flavours. Spices that I used are basic everyday spices, what brings a unique flavour to the dish is frying the onions till brown. This rice can be served as is or with some raita. Simplicity of this dish makes it apt for lunch boxes too.

Preparation Time : 5 minutes
Cook Time : 30 minutes
Serves : 2
Ingredients:
Rice : 1 cup
Paneer : 100 grams
Onion : 1 large
Ginger garlic paste: 1 teaspoon
Cilantro/coriander leaves : 1 small bunch
Green peas : 1/3 cup
Red chilli powder : 1 teaspoon
Garam masala : 1/2 teaspoon
Salt to taste (I added 1 1/2 teaspoon)
Method:
Add 2 cups of water to rice and cook. Once done, let it cool for 10 minutes.
Heat 2 tablespoons of ghee in a pan, add onion and fry till brown as shown in the picture.
Add ginger garlic paste and saute for 1 minute.
Add cilantro, peas, paneer, salt, red chilli powder, garam masala and cook for 2 minutes.
Add cooked rice and toss well to combine.
Turn off the stove and serve.
