This is a simple dish made with Chicken thighs roasted with herbs and baked along with the Creamy Sauce. Serve it with some herb flavoured rice, mashed potatoes or pasta.

Preparation Time: 5 minutes

Cook Time : 10 minutes

Bake Time : 35 minutes

Serves : 6

Ingredients:

Olive oil : 2 tablespoons

Chicken Thighs bone-in : 1 kg

Italian seasoning : 1 teaspoon

Salt and pepper to taste

Butter : 2 tablespoons

Onion : 1 medium diced

Garlic : 4 cloves minced

Fresh Thyme : 1/2 teaspoon

All purpose flour : 1 tablespoon

Chicken stock : 1 1/2 cups

Heavy cream : 1/2 cup

Italian seasoning : 1 teaspoon

Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.

Heat Olive oil in a pan, season the chicken thighs with salt, pepper and Italian seasoning and cook for 4-5 minutes on both sides until the chicken is browned. Take out chicken pieces from the pan and keep aside.

In the same pan, add butter and melt it. Add Onion and cook until they are soft and golden brown.

Add minced garlic, thyme, Italian seasoning and cook for 1 minute.

Add flour, stir well and cook for 1 minute. Add Chicken stock, heavy cream, salt, pepper and cook for 5-6 minutes.

Take a oven safe pan, add the cooked Chicken, top it off with the creamy sauce and bake for 30-35 minutes.

Once done, serve with flavoured rice, mashed potatoes or pasta.
