These spicy potatoes are deep fried and coated with a blend of spices.
It’s a nice side dish with Rice/Roti and Dal or as a starter.
Preparation Time: 10 minutes

Serves : 3-4
Potatoes: 3 large
Turmeric: 1/2 teaspoon
Amchur/Dry mango powder: 1/2 teaspoon
Red chili powder: 1 teaspoon
Garam masala: 1/2 teaspoon
Cumin powder: 1/2 teaspoon
Asafoetida: 1/2 teaspoon
Salt to taste
Peel and cut the potatoes to 1 inch pieces.
Heat oil for deep frying and fry the potatoes for 10-12 minutes until they turn golden brown.
Mix all the spices in a bowl.
Heat 2 teaspoons of oil in a fry pan and add the spice mix, fry for 30 seconds. Add the potatoes and fry for 1 minute.
Turn off the heat.
Serve hot as side dish for rice/roti and dal or as as starter by it self.
